Hello again Man in Glasses.
I'm afraid I don't have a webcam or a web cat.
It looks like a very groovy aeroplane to me.

When I said groovy, I meant that it excels even my own stylish perceptions of all that is svelte, sleek and technologically supreme in all things airborne.

sorry for any readers who may have inadvertently misinterpreted my previous comment.

You sound quite groovy yourself Bianca

Here is your first clue. This plane is on the tarmac. But where?

Manchester airport

Manchester airport

It looks digitally enhanced, but then we could all benefit from that.

Is there a theme to this blog, or an agenda?

Going from one blog to another and through this one, it feels a bit like speed dating: why should I pick you, yes?

Anonymous said...

Hello Chlotilde. It is a while since I last did speed dating but as I remember it, it was my agenda that was more important than theirs. What is your agenda?

Anonymous said...

Perhaps we are biased as we have known battenburg for so long, but all this talk of agendas makes us think that people are expecting some kind of mission statement from all this. Some of you people seem to be caught up in a corporate machine or something. I'd like to know what sancha battenburg has to say about all this but it's as though everything needs purpose to be decided before anything can happen. What about chance, interaction, development, risk, the unexpected, the suprise.
Need we say more...

isn't the aim to get us guessing where this aeroplane is? I am sticking with Manchester airport

Anonymous said...

Bon mot madame, I will look to my own agenda and let you know how it is. but surely, manchester is just soooo dull, and so much need for the parapluie, no?

Sancha Battenburg said...

Sorry Miss Triumph - it is not Manchester. Our clue is that it is further south than that. Have you been to Manchester Chlotilde?
Any more guesses?!!!

Gatwick Airport

Heathrow?

No one has got it yet. Tomorrow we will post up a new day out so here are some clues for you about this one.
1) It is not digitally enhanced
2) It does not usually fly anywhere (it might not be able to at all)
3) It us kept with other old planes

So where do you think it is?

Anonymous said...

I think it must be some kind of museum, but I don't know where. I don't think a museum full of old planes is really my kind of day out.

Good evening, my name is dominic and i work with the geography guys at Brunel Uni. We've done some checking out of the images on your site and run them through our GPS system which uses a new algorithm to determine locations down to postal codes. It may be a long shot, but we reckon from the source material and the lighting/weather conditions, that this is somewhere north of the River Thames in London, and possibly in the Lea Valley or M11 corridor. With some data on wind speeds and sun azimuth we could probably give you a direct local fix. Best wishes from the team.

That Bianca bird seems to have a very short fuse.

Is it brunei? Or in the collection of that american tycoon?

Good evening Dominic. You sound extremely clever with all that talk of post codes and corridors. It sounds like the work you do must be fascinating. Well I am going to take advantage of your knowledge and guess Stansted.

Arn't you going to have a guess Claire?

I don't really get this battenburg thing. What is it?
